Remembering Service to Nation and Supporting our Veterans
We think it is important to respect and remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought to defend our democracy and way of life. We also donate funds to Legacy Queensland so they can provide the essential social, financial and developmental support to the partners and children of those who gave their lives or their health for our country.
Helping Sick Children & Fighting Disease
We are passionate about helping sick children recover from ill-health and provide financial support to ensure they get the best possible treatment while in hospital. Preventing disease is also important to us and that is why we support efforts to combat diseases like polio, malaria and others.
Promoting Youth Development
We believe in developing the next generation of leaders. We send younger people to a range of Rotary programs to help them build leadership skills, expand education and learn the value of service.
Combating Homelessness
We believe that everyone deserves a home that is safe, secure and affordable. We support programs that enable people to avoid and escape homelessness, crisis and transitional accommodation and social and affordable housing.
Supporting Education for Disadvantaged and Disabled Children
We provide financial support to educate disadvantaged, bright students to become moral and intellectual leaders in their communities. We also provide financial and other support to improve the education and well-being of disabled children.
Responding to Disaster and Humanitarian Crises
We provide financial and other support to help both domestic and international communities recover when natural disasters strike or other humanitarian crises arise.
The Australian Rotary Foundation Trust
The Australian Rotary Foundation Trust (TARFT) is a Deductible Gift Recipient and a Tax Concession Charity. TARFT stands ready to assist Private Ancillary Funds and Corporate Foundations with their charitable activities including the support of Rotary volunteers interacting within our international network of Clubs. The Rotary Foundation through its World Fund makes available funds on a matching basis for activities such as humanitarian projects, scholarships and vocational training.
